Job Description:
• Support the execution of a large, complex federal healthcare program focused on advancing telehealth capabilities and digital health solutions in support of the Veterans Health Administration
• Coordinate day-to-day operations across initiatives that enhance access to care, improve clinical workflows, and expand the delivery of virtual health services for Veterans nationwide
• Serve as a key integrator across technical, clinical, and operational teams, translating VHA priorities into actionable plans while maintaining visibility into program performance, risks, and dependencies
• Oversee program operations, tracking deliverables and milestones tied to telehealth and health IT deployments
• Support enterprise-wide implementation efforts across VHA medical centers and partner sites
• Facilitate communication among government stakeholders, clinicians, and technical teams
• Support workforce coordination; ensure consistency in processes, documentation, and reporting
• Monitor program performance, support risk management and quality assurance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with VHA mission outcomes
Requirements:
• 10+ years of relevant experience supporting program or project management efforts in a federal environment, preferably within healthcare or health IT programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex programs for federal clients such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal health agencies
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day program operations, including tracking deliverables, schedules, and performance metrics across multiple workstreams
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders
• Familiarity with telehealth, healthcare delivery systems, or health information technology (health IT) initiatives
• Knowledge of federal program management practices, including risk management, quality assurance, and performance monitoring
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership and government stakeholders
• Experience developing and maintaining program documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (or active clearance preferred)
