Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, answering their questions and concerns about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling a variety of call types and client inquiries. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, and you'll have opportunities to grow and develop within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from members, answering questions and concerns about their pharmacy benefit plans
- Provide clear and concise information about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize our systems and tools to access member information, process requests, and document interactions
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to our quality and compliance standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and company initiatives
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, or customer service environment
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
- Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving their quality of life
- Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
- Ability to exhibit patience and empathy, expressing assurance and confidence
- Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
- Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
- At least 6 months of health care experience
