About The Role We are seeking a performance-obsessed Direct Response Copywriter to join our marketing team. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling, conversion-focused copy that drives customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across our DTC channels.
As a key member of the team, you will develop high-converting messaging for paid media campaigns, email and SMS marketing flows, landing pages, and sales funnels. Your work will be rooted in continuous testing, data analysis, and optimization to ensure maximum performance. Additionally, for the initial 5-6 months, you will support blog and SEO content initiatives to expand our organic reach.
This role demands a strategic thinker who can generate innovative hooks, understand buyer psychology, and translate insights into scalable creative solutions that directly impact revenue growth.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3+ years of direct response copywriting experience, preferably within DTC or performance marketing sectors
• Proven track record of creating copy that delivers measurable results in conversion rates, CTR, and CAC improvements
• Deep understanding of customer psychology, buyer intent, and marketing funnels
• Experience writing for paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
• Familiarity with email and SMS marketing strategies and flows
• Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into effective copy strategies
• Experience collaborating with creative, media, and growth teams to develop and iterate ad creative
• Knowledge of SEO principles and experience supporting blog content is a plus
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with a test-and-learn mindset
• Bonus points for experience in DTC, CPG, subscription businesses, or familiarity with platforms like Klaviyo, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads
Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize conversion-driven copy for paid social media ads across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
• Create compelling email and SMS campaigns and automated flows that engage and convert audiences
• Write persuasive landing pages and product detail pages that maximize sales and lead generation
• Design and refine advertorials and sales funnels to improve overall performance
• Develop high-performing hooks, messaging frameworks, and creative angles to capture audience attention
• Partner with creative and media teams to conceptualize and iterate ad creative concepts
• Implement continuous testing of headlines, offers, and messaging to enhance key performance indicators
• Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and adjust copy strategies accordingly
• Manage copy testing roadmaps and iterate on winning messaging to scale across channels
• Balance speed and quality in deliverables, ensuring rapid deployment of tested copy variations
• Support blog and SEO content initiatives by translating product and customer insights into educational, conversion-focused content (temporary role)
• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to maintain brand voice and messaging consistency
