Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Support Associate, your day will be filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to grow. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with senior engineers to resolve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat), applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and working together to identify the root cause of issues.
• Driving initiatives that improve support-related processes and customer experience, such as creating tutorials, how-to videos, technical articles, and trainings.
• Leveraging your customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services and working on critical, highly complex customer problems that span multiple AWS services.
• Continuously learning and developing new technical skills and professional competencies in groundbreaking technologies.
• Acting as an interviewer in hiring processes and coaching/mentoring new team members.

Requirements and Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Knowledge or experience with system administration and troubleshooting any operating system (Linux and/or Windows) and networking (HTTP/s, TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, CURL or related).
• Understanding or experience with tools, concepts, troubleshooting, and administration within cloud-based environments in one of the following technology domains: Analytics, Big Data, Databases, Deployment/DevOps, Developer and Mobile Services, Storage and Content Delivery, Security, Windows, Linux or Networking.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) within technical and business settings.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience with AWS services and solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud-based security and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
