The Clinical Research Budget Negotiator plays a crucial role in the financial management of industry sponsored, federal, State of Florida, and privately funded clinical trials at Moffitt Cancer Center. This position is responsible for negotiating clinical trial budgets and payment terms to support an efficient activation and amendment process, ensuring that patients have access to cutting-edge clinical trials.
The Clinical Research Budget Negotiator ensures that budgets align with institutional financial policies, fair market value (FMV), and regulatory requirements while supporting efficient trial activation and amendment processing. This role requires strong collaboration with principal investigators (PIs), research teams, finance, legal, and sponsors to ensure the financial viability and compliance of clinical trials.
