Clients include Disney, Marvel, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Universal, and more.The Third Floor is looking for enthusiastic Character Animators who have a passion for and are proficient in naturalistic animation, believable acting and dynamic physical mechanics. Working closely with your team's leadership, you'll be responsible to shoot reference and animate shots to facilitate the director's vision. An ideal candidate is a strong collaborator with experience animating on 2's, 3's and 4's in a fast paced environment.Full Time. Remote.
Contract: ~ July 2025 - October 2025Responsibilities:Create believable hand keyed animation with characters, creatures, props, and vehicles based on previs, storyboards or launch descriptions.Perform and shoot acting reference for visual roadmap to character performances and body mechanics.Maintain a high consistent standard of quality and speed.Essential Skills:Solid communication skills.The ability to collaborate with team leadership, taking and implementing direction accurately and quickly.Displaying a strong sense of weight, posing, flow, composition & appeal.Displaying strong knowledge of motion, physics and principles of animation.Creature Animation experience is a plus.Experience in “limited animation” 2's, 3's and 4's is a plus.Personal attributes:Passion for improvement and growth in their work.Team-minded, collaborative nature.(For Remote) Willingness to adjust working hours to PSTSoftware Requirements:Autodesk MayaBonus: Unreal EngineThe pay scale is between $30 - 70/ hour, based on experience, skillset and other factors, plus additional Perks and Benefits.U.S. & Canada Applicants only: TTF participates in E-Verify and we will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
