As a Channel Account Manager (Distributor Partnerships) at Chem-Impex, you serve as the cornerstone of our distributor partnership strategy. You nurture and expand relationships with our existing distributor network to drive revenue growth through expansion, renewal, and retention initiatives. You own the full distributor relationship lifecycle and maximize the potential of your assigned Book of Business.
How You'll Contribute
Conduct quarterly business and performance reviews to assess distributor results and identify growth opportunities
Lead in-person and on-site meetings to strengthen partnerships and align on strategic objectives
Design and implement incentive programs that boost distributor performance and drive revenue growth
Train distributor sales teams on product knowledge, competitive positioning, and sales techniques
Collaborate with Chem-Impex’s Marketing team to create targeted sales collateral and marketing materials
Support distributor sales efforts by attending roadshows, site visits, and industry conferences
Gather and analyze market intelligence to guide strategic decisions and strengthen competitive positioning
Increase Chem-Impex’s visibility on distributor websites and platforms through product placement, data enrichment, and catalog management
Manage activities, track meetings, and oversee the sales pipeline in HubSpot
What You'll Bring
Strategic, results-driven approach with a proven ability to build and sustain complex business relationships
2+ years of experience in Account Management, Relationship Management, or Partnerships
Strong background in the life sciences industry
Willingness to travel up to 33% and be on-site at our Wood Dale, IL headquarters 25% of the time.
Deep understanding of distribution models, channel dynamics, and competitive landscapes
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to develop long-term partnership strategies that align with both organizations’ goals
Experience collaborating with internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) to support distributor needs
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging all levels of external stakeholders
What We Offer
$65,000 base salary + $65,000 on-target variable (OTE: $130,000)
