Position Overview
We are looking for a certified pharmacy technician who excels in data entry, possesses strong communication skills, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. In this position, you will be responsible for processing prescription orders from our RedBox Rx providers, creating and maintaining patient profiles, and assisting customers with their pharmacy-related needs via phone and email. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that directly impact patient safety and satisfaction. Your primary duties will include:
- Processing Prescription Orders: Accurately enter prescription data from RedBox Rx providers into our pharmacy management system, ensuring all information is captured correctly and verified according to established protocols.
- Patient Profile Management: Create and maintain new patient profiles, updating existing records with current information, insurance details, and prescription history to ensure continuity of care.
- Customer Assistance: Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency, addressing visit and treatment-related questions while escalating complex issues to pharmacists when necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining adherence to quality assurance standards, participating in regular audits and process improvements to ensure operational excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to all statutes and regulations governing pharmacy technician practice, including HIPAA requirements for maintaining patient confidentiality.
