Xurrent is an innovative company specializing in AI-driven Operations Management platforms. They are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive sales opportunities and collaborate with various teams to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed sales development targets including 50+ calls per day
- Work to collaborate with account executives and channel sales representatives to create and execute territory development plans
- Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Xurrent service, its positioning, buyers, customers and partners
- Become a black belt in account research, account intelligence gathering, and decision making unit identification
- Proactively and creatively search for and uncover new business opportunities in territory
- Build consultative and value-seeking relationships with prospects
- Maintain detailed account intelligence contact summaries, and activity records in Salesforce
- Identify and improve best practices to help refine the Xurrent’s lead generation playbook
- Manage chat traffic and trial questions and route to appropriate internal resource
- Work on-site events such as shows and exhibitions, to drive traffic to our booth, presentations and round tables
- Approach every day with a positive attitude and an eagerness to continue professional development
Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or internships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (cold email, phone, etc.)
- Ability to manage high activity volume (calls, emails, social outreach)
- Basic understanding of sales processes (lead qualification, pipeline stages)
- Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
- Time management and organizational skills
- 1+ years of BDR/SDR or outbound prospecting experience
- Experience in SaaS or technology sales
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding activity or meeting quotas
- Strong research and personalization skills for outbound campaigns
- Exposure to multi-channel prospecting (phone, email, social, events)
