LumiQ is a modern, audio-first learning platform dedicated to enhancing professional education for accounting and finance professionals. The Business Development Representative will focus on driving new business through outbound sales strategies, managing CRM tools, and achieving key performance indicators while contributing to the sales team's overall revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate qualified opportunities through outbound sales, including prospecting, research, cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn social selling, with a focus on scheduling meetings to support the Sales Team
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals while contributing to annual sales team revenue targets
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and other sales tools, including detailed notes on conversations, research, and statuses for different leads
- Invest in your personal and professional growth to maximize your current and future success
- Set yourself up for career advancement within our growing sales team

- Post-secondary education (Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma)
- Background or interest in Accounting, Finance, Education, Business Development, or Marketing
- Experience in a role where there are frequent ‘tough' conversations (customer service, door-to-door sales, fundraising etc.)
- Experience in competitive fields (sports, arts, etc.)
