We currently operate 11 Tutu School locations across California, New York and Connecticut. </div><div> <strong><br>Position Overview<br></strong>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to manage financial records across multiple Tutu School locations. This role requires experience with multi-unit locations and franchise operations, as well as strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will not only maintain accurate financial records but also help identify efficiencies, budgeting, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.</div><div> <strong><br>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Maintain and manage bookkeeping for 11+ Tutu School locations using QuickBooks Online</li> <li>Record and reconcile financial transactions including revenue, expenses, and bank accounts</li> <li>Perform monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts</li> <li>Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities and locations</li> <li>Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and summaries for leadership</li> <li>Ensure consistency and organization across financial records for all locations</li> <li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial or operational improvements</li> <li>Support budgeting and financial planning as needed</li> <li>Coordinate with internal team members as needed</li> <li>Maintain organized records and documentation</li> <li>Submit payroll reports and documentation in a timely manner</li> </ul><div> <strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (required)</li> <li>Experience managing bookkeeping for multi-unit businesses (required) </li> <li>Experience in franchising (required)</li> <li>Strong understanding of general bookkeeping and accounting principles</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple entities and maintain clear financial records</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment</li> <li>Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting tools</li> </ul><div> <strong>Position Details<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Remote position (candidates must be located in California, New York, Connecticut, Minnesota or Iowa) </li> <li>Approximately 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling</li> <li>Hourly rate of $25–$30 based on experience</li> <li>401(k) with matching </li> </ul> </div> <p>This is a remote position.</p>
