Communications Associates earn between $3,000–$5,000 per month, depending on experience.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDraft and edit social media content, talking points, press materials, and other communications for elected officials, political candidates, and partner organizations.Support the development and implementation of strategic digital communication programs.Monitor news cycles and assist with rapid-response messaging as needed.Maintain content calendars, manage deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of client materials.Coordinate with internal teams on graphics, video content, and web materials.RequirementsHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComfortable working independently and taking initiativeFamiliarity with Google SuitePrior communications experiencePreferredGraphic design experienceVideo editing experienceExperience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop)Previous campaign and/or legislative experience in TexasUnderstanding of the Texas political landscape
