SanMar is a company that values the impact of its employees' work. The Associate Business Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting in the analysis and documentation of business processes, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and supporting project execution and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clear and concise documentation
- Provide support to other systems analysts in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects with significant size or impact
- Document existing business processes, workflows, and procedures to gain foundational knowledge of the business and help identify areas of improvement
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data to identify insights relevant to business needs
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and scrum teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project or enhancement goals
- Maintain project documentation, including but not limited to user stories, functional requirements, meeting minutes, and solutions for defects
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure systems are built and configured to requirements and design specifications; participate in the development of the test plan and test cases
- Assist in identifying and resolving business issues or solution defects by proposing innovative solutions and alternatives
- Take direction from senior-level staff, including project managers, technical teams, and other analysts
- May lead in responsibility for analysis work streams for smaller projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 0-1 years experience as a systems analyst or related role
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all levels of management
- Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; emphasis on exceptional listening skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- A curious mind, strong critical thinking skills, and a continuous drive to expand and learn for the future
