Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Assistant Teacher for Toddler Classroom to join our team at Little Tree Education. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with our Lead Teachers to create a engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages children to grow and develop. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teachers in planning and implementing engaging and interactive lessons that promote learning and development.
- Support children in their daily activities, including snack and lunch preparation and clean-up.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
- Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
- Assist with classroom management and support Lead Teachers in maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children aged three to six; Montessori experience a plus.
- Nurturing and kind demeanor with a heart for children.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Early childhood education certification or training.
- Experience with classroom management and lesson planning.
- Familiarity with Montessori principles and practices.

- Basic computer skills and ability to learn our curriculum management system.
