JOB SUMMARY:
As an innovative Architectural Designer for our Corporate Real Estate team, you get to support a unique industry at its very roots – the design of who we are! You’re an essential part of our team supporting both our company owned and operated parks and our franchise owners by ensuring everyone gets to run a fun and safe business.
You play a critical role in the creation of remodel space plans and updating our design standards and addenda across all our brands. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our design team on plan revisions, model updates, FF&E updates, and the assessment process.
This is a work-from-home opportunity and is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a fluency in how architectural design is put together. You’ll report directly to the Sr. Architectural Designer and be provided with a company-issued laptop for the duration of your employment. This is full-time, salaried position with great perks and benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design, Drafting, or a related field highly preferred; equivalent work experience with a strong design portfolio may take place of formal education.
2-4 years of experience working with AutoCAD and AutoDesk Revit either through a formal position, internship, or courses.
Experience creating and reviewing both 2D and 3D drawings is essential.
Skilled in space planning and interpretation of design standards with an eye for detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to work both independently and as a collaborativeteam member.
Willingness to learn, discover, and share new methods and approaches to problem solving.
Strong work ethic and accountability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with our design team to develop plans and document standards for new park equipment and attractions.
Understand each of our brands and translate brand standards packages when planning new and existing parks.
Review documents produced by outside consultants for compliance with brand standards.
Work with our Innovations Team on Park remodel drawings.
Assist our Design & Engineering teams with Design Standards and Design Guideline updates.
Coordinate details between Design, Engineering, Innovation, and Construction teams.
Produce Park test fits, space plans, storefront renderings, and other schematic designs for potential new park locations and park renovations.
Create permit and construction drawings for minor park renovations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to remain stationary while looking at a computer for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Compensation range is $65-$70based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Full-time employees at CircusTrix enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching. Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
