Job description: Selectek has partnered with a growing aviation client in the Indianapolis Metro area that is looking for a Cabin Engineer to design and analyze aircraft cabin interior systems components need to support Aircraft interior modifications (STC Projects)• BS Mechanical Aerospace) Engineering
• 7 plus years performing design, analysis, substantiationcertification, drawing interpretation and project management
• Design and analyze Mechanical components in support of aircraft
interior modifications and avionics upgrades (FAA, STC Projects)
• Prepare cabin interior modification/installation/fabrication
drawings,
engineering reports and work instructions
• Develop work instructions and airworthiness procedures
• Travel 10% Domestic and Internationally
• Airbus and Boeing experience
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs from Title 14 of Code of
Federal Regulations
• Knowledge and experience with FAA Supplement Type Certificate (STC) process, Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Part Catalog (IPC)
• AutoCAD and Inventor#LI-KG1mechanical aircraft, united airlines, delta airlines, Southwest airlines
